I . . . offer my whole-hearted support to the work of Sabeel and The Rev. Naim Ateek for their tireless efforts to promote peace based on justice in the Holy Land.   Regrettably, the enemies of peace who support Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian lands and condone the inhuman oppression and denial of rights of the indigenous population of the Holy Land, are angered by the noble efforts of Sabeel and the Rev Naim Ateek in promoting peace with justice to all parties to the conflict. Some of these opponents even claim to be Christian, but in opposing a non-violent liberation theology inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ as advocated by Sabeel, they become transparent and their true colours exposed.   

Those who unashamedly support the continued denial of the inalienable rights of Palestinians have of late become more vicious in their malicious attacks on Sabeel. Additionally, irked by the ever increasing success of Rev Ateek in gathering a greater number of recruits to the cause of peace and justice, some had the audacity to launch vitriolic attacks on him personally and even attempted to slander his integrity, but thank God, to no avail.  

May Sabeel and all those who work tirelessly to promote peace and justice to all in the Holy Land be crowned with eventual success.
